This is a really nice vintage Matchbox bus with plenty of small details to appreciate. The model is a 1910 Renault Bus, part of the Models of Yesteryear range, and carries the Wesserling-Bussang name along the side. It has a yellow body with a black roof and chassis, along with red wheels that give it a great old-fashioned look.
I particularly like the amount of detail packed into such a small model. You can see the brown ribbed seats through the windows, along with the roof rack, running boards, brass-colored lamps and front fittings. The open-style passenger area also gives it more character than a typical closed diecast vehicle.
The model is Y-44 and is approximately 1:38 scale. It was released in 1991 as part of the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear collection.
It’s a great choice for someone who enjoys vintage Matchbox models, classic buses, or simply wants something different for their diecast collection.
